BIOPREN® 6 EC Plus Bedbug and Flea Killer Concentrate
Use
The product is intended for indoor control of bedbugs and fleas.
The improved formulation not only repels and stuns insects with a hidden lifestyle, but thanks to the active substance S-methoprene (an insect growth regulator), it interrupts the insect life cycle by preventing larvae from developing into reproductive adults.
Due to its different mode of action, the product is also effective against pests resistant to synthetic pyrethroids.
Directions for Use
Preparation of Working Solution
Shake BIOPREN® 6 EC Plus concentrate before use.
Measure the required amount and close the bottle immediately after pouring.
Fill the sprayer halfway with water.
Add the measured concentrate.
Fill up with water to the required volume and mix thoroughly.
Keep the prepared working solution closed and use within 24 hours.
The product acts by direct contact. Carefully treat infested areas and pay special attention to pest hiding places. Evenly moisten surfaces, cracks and crevices.
Surfaces are generally not damaged; however, it is recommended to test the solution on a small inconspicuous area first, especially on painted/varnished surfaces, carpets and upholstery.
On highly porous surfaces (brick, plaster, cement render, etc.) effectiveness may be reduced.
Bedbug Control
Dosage: 50 ml BIOPREN® 6 EC concentrate per 5 litres of water.
Areas requiring special attention:
Bed
bed frame
mattress support slats
mattress edges
Surroundings of the bed
area behind the headboard
where the bed touches the wall
bedside drawer interiors
external surfaces
Other furniture
sofas and similar furniture (especially seams, upholstery, fringes)
tables and wardrobes
curtain folds and curtain rods
Cracks and crevices
floor, wall and ceiling cracks
edges of parquet, linoleum, carpets
wallpaper seams
backs of wall-mounted objects (mirrors, pictures)
backs of wall-mounted equipment
⚠ Even the smallest crack can serve as a hiding place.
Books, magazines and other items near the bed should also be inspected and treated.
Electrical equipment
Exercise caution when treating around sockets, switches and detectors.
Do not spray directly into electrical equipment.
Do not treat bed linen.
Wash at minimum 60°C if fabric instructions allow.
Previously hidden bedbugs may emerge during treatment — spray them directly.
On average, 5 litres of working solution are sufficient to treat approximately 100 m².
Flea Control
Dosage: 20 ml BIOPREN® 6 EC per 5 litres of water.
Apply the solution to areas where flea larvae and adults are present.

Vacuum thoroughly before treatment. Dispose of vacuum contents safely.
Wash fabrics at minimum 60°C where permitted.
Animal shelters / kennels

Do not wash treated surfaces for at least 1 week.
If washed, repeat treatment.
⚠ The product contains a pyrethroid-type active substance — cats are particularly sensitive.
Do not treat areas frequently used by cats.
Re-treatment
If infestation persists, repeat treatment after 2–3 weeks.
In problematic areas additional treatment may be required.
Precautions
Use only for insect control.
Store in original packaging.
Do not spray on food, cutlery or toys.
Do not spray on people, pets or plants.
Wash hands after use.
Treated areas may be used only after complete drying and proper ventilation.
First Aid
Inhalation: Move to fresh air; seek medical attention if necessary.
Eyes: Rinse for at least 15 minutes.
Skin: Wash with soap and water.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting; seek medical attention.

Storage
