Rodents often remain unnoticed at first, but their presence can be indicated by several typical signs. One of the earliest signs is droppings near food supplies, on shelves, in cupboards, behind furniture or along walls.

Also pay attention to gnawed objects, damaged food packaging and electrical wires. Scratching, running or gnawing noises in walls, ceilings or under the floor, especially during the night, may also suggest rodent activity.

An unpleasant smell, nests made of paper, fabric or other soft materials, as well as damaged food supplies can also indicate the presence of rodents. It is important to react early, because the sooner the signs are noticed, the easier it is to prevent the problem from spreading further.
