Rat and Mouse Poison – Wax Blocks

Ready-to-use rodenticide in wax block form for the control of house mice and brown rats.

Area of Use

• Control of house mice (Mus musculus) indoors

• Control of brown rats (Rattus norvegicus) indoors and outdoors around buildings

For non-professional use.

Directions for Use

Before Using the Rodenticide

• Place the product in areas where rodent activity has been observed (burrows, droppings, gnaw marks, tracks).

• Consider alternative control methods (e.g., traps).

• Do not use for preventive purposes or for monitoring rodent activity.

• Remove accessible food and water sources.

• Seal holes and entry points.

• Do not completely clean the infestation area before placing bait, as this may disturb rodent behaviour.

Preparation Before Baiting

The rodenticide must only be placed inside a lockable, tamper-resistant bait station.
Bait station is not included.

It is recommended to use Multibaiter® or an equivalent bait station.

The bait station must be clearly labelled:

Application

• Place along walls, under cupboards and behind furniture.

• Position near rodent pathways and harbourage areas.

• Keep out of reach of children and animals.

• Protect from rain and water.

• Do not place near drainage systems.

• Always use inside a closed bait station.

Application Rates

Rat Control

• Low infestation: 200 g (8 blocks) every 10 m

• High infestation: 200 g (8 blocks) every 5 m

Mouse Control

• Low infestation: 50 g (2 blocks) every 10 m

• High infestation: 50 g (2 blocks) every 5 m

Inspection & Monitoring

• Rats: inspect every 5–7 days

• Mice: inspect every 2–3 days

• Then at least once per week

Replace consumed bait.
Replace mouldy or damaged bait.
If bait is continuously eaten, increase the number of bait points (do not increase the amount per station).
If bait remains untouched but rodents are present, move the bait station.

Rodent death occurs within 3–5 days after ingestion.
Full control usually achieved within 2–6 weeks.
If no improvement after 35 days, contact a pest control professional.

• Use only according to instructions.

• Toxic to mammals and birds.

• Risk of secondary poisoning (predators).

• Do not eat, drink or smoke during use.

• Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

• Keep away from food and animal feed.

• Prevent contamination of natural waters.

First Aid

In case of poisoning, seek medical attention immediately and show the label.

• Skin contact: rinse with water and wash with soap.

• Eye contact: rinse for at least 10 minutes.

• If swallowed: symptoms may include delayed bleeding (nose, gums, blood in urine or stool).
  Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.

• If ingested by an animal, contact a veterinarian immediately.

Antidote: Vitamin K1 (administered by medical/veterinary professionals only).

Storage

Waste Management

• Collect dead rodents using gloves.

• Place in double plastic bags.

• Dispose of with household waste.

• At the end of treatment, remove bait stations.

• Dispose of unused product at hazardous waste facilities.
