PROTECT® Mosquito & Tick Repellent Aerosol

Effective outdoor protection against mosquitoes and ticks.

Application

For repelling:

• Mosquitoes (protection up to 7 hours)

• Ticks (protection up to 2 hours)

• Also effective against Asian tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus)

Directions for Use

Before use:

Shake well.

Application:

• Hold the can vertically.

• Spray a thin 2–5 cm strip onto exposed skin.

• Spread evenly over the skin.

Dosage:

• Apply 1 g of repellent per 600 cm² of skin
  (approximately the area of an adult forearm)

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Effectiveness

• Protection against mosquitoes: up to 7 hours

• Protection against ticks: up to 2 hours

Effectiveness may be reduced by:

• High temperatures (>30 °C)

• High humidity

• Sweating

• Skin friction

• Strong wind

If the product does not perform as expected, inform the authorisation holder.

Risk Reduction Measures

• Wear long trousers and long-sleeved shirts outdoors.

• For facial protection, spray onto palms first, then apply to face.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, ears, lips and damaged skin.

• For children, apply the product to your own palms first, then spread on the child’s skin.

• Do not apply directly to children’s hands.

• Do not apply to sensitive areas (armpits, behind knees).

• Do not use on irritated or damaged skin.

• Do not use more than twice per day.

• For children aged 9–12: use once per day only.

• Not suitable for children under 9 years.

• Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

• Children must be supervised during use.

• Do not leave on skin longer than 8 hours.

• Wash treated skin if protection is no longer needed or irritation occurs.

• For outdoor use only.

• Wash hands thoroughly after use and before eating.

• Prevent contact with food, cutlery or animal feed.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Not suitable for application on hair or clothing.

• May damage plastics, synthetic materials, watch glass, leather, painted or varnished surfaces.

• Not recommended for simultaneous use with sunscreen.

• Apply carefully to avoid dripping or spillage.

• Absorb spills with suitable material (e.g., sand or sawdust).

Inhalation:
Move to fresh air. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.

Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.

Ingestion:
Contact a doctor.

Skin contact or irritation:
Wash thoroughly with water. Seek medical advice if symptoms occur.

Storage & Shelf Life

• Store in original packaging.

• Keep in a dry, cool place.

• Do not exceed 45 °C.

• Protect from direct sunlight.

• Shelf life: 2 years from manufacturing date.

Waste Management

• Store leftovers in original packaging until disposal.

• Preferably dispose of as hazardous waste.

• If not available, dispose with household waste.

• Do not pour into drains.

• Do not contaminate soil or waterways.

• Do not reuse packaging.
