Faraonskudras parasti ierīko pūzni (koloniju) sienu plaisās, gar cauruļvadiem un sienu kontaktligzdās. Viena kolonija sastāv no vairākiem tūkstošiem darba skudru un, pretēji citām skudru sugām, desmitiem karalieņu. Dzeltenīgi brūnās, 2 – 2,5 mm garās, ar neapbruņotu aci grūti saskatāmās darba faraonskudras kolonijā rūpējas par karalieņu un pēcnācēju barošanu, tādā veidā nodrošināt to pieeju ēsmai.
Biopren / Protect® Pharaoh’s ant colony eliminator faraonskudru ēsma satur insektu augšanas regulatoru, kam nav tūlītēja iznīcinoša iedarbība, bet tas karalienēm aizkavē olu dēšanu un izraisa kūniņu attīstības traucējumus. Pēc tās normālās dzīves traucējumiem, kolonija aiziet bojā 10 – 14 nedēļu laikā.

PROTECT® Pharaoh’s Ant Colony Eliminator is a bait formulation designed for the complete elimination of Pharaoh’s ants (Monomorium pharaonis) indoors.
Pharaoh’s ants typically establish colonies in wall cracks, along pipelines, electrical conduits and wall sockets. A single colony may consist of several thousand worker ants and dozens of queens, which makes control particularly challenging.

The bait contains an insect growth regulator (IGR). It does not provide immediate knockdown.
S-methoprene:
prevents egg laying by queens,
disrupts larval development,
gradually stops colony reproduction.
Complete colony elimination occurs within 10–14 weeks.

Cut the tip of the sachet along the dotted line.
Remove the protective foil from the adhesive pad.
Attach the bait station:
near (but not directly on) ant trails or foraging paths,
with the opening facing upward or sideways.
along kitchen walls,
inside cupboards or buffets,
in bathrooms,
in any room where ant activity is observed.
⚠ Prevent bait from spilling.
Ant activity may temporarily increase after placement.
Replace empty or damaged bait stations.
Protect from moisture (e.g., during cleaning).
Do not use other insecticides while bait is in use.
For maximum effectiveness, leave bait stations in place for up to 3 months, even if ants disappear earlier.
After colony collapse, occasional wandering worker ants may appear. These can be controlled with a spray insecticide if necessary.
The product contains a very bitter substance (denatonium benzoate) to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion.

If inhaled:
Move the affected person to fresh air. Seek medical advice if necessary.
If on skin:
Wash with plenty of water and soap.
If in eyes:
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and continue rinsing. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
If swallowed:
Seek medical attention if symptoms occur.
