ACTIVE SUBSTANCE

Bromadiolone – 0.05 g/kg
(EC No.: 249-205-9, CAS No.: 28772-56-7)

Contains denatonium benzoate – a bittering agent reducing the risk of accidental ingestion by humans.

AREA OF USE

For the control of:

House mouse (Mus musculus)
Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus)

When selecting a rodenticide, the resistance status of the target population must be considered.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Place bait in properly labelled bait boxes and position in areas where rodent activity has been observed (runs, burrows, harbourages, feeding sites).

Open bait sachets before use.
If the product is not pre-packed, wear a suitable respirator (at least EN 149 FFP2 or equivalent) during application.

When used outdoors around buildings, place bait in locations protected from rain.

Rodent death begins 4–5 days after ingestion.

Inspect bait every 4–7 days.
Replace consumed, removed, damaged or contaminated bait immediately.
Continue treatment until rodent activity has ceased (usually within 2–3 weeks).

If bait remains untouched but activity persists, reposition bait.

Bait boxes must be clearly marked with:
• product name
• active substance
• antidote
• name, surname, address and telephone number of the person placing the bait

Secure bait wherever possible to prevent rodents from dragging it away.

Mouse control

50–100 g per 5 m².

Rat control

200–250 g every 7–10 metres.

• Toxic to mammals and birds
• Dogs, cats and other animals may be poisoned if they consume poisoned rodents
• Do not use for control of non-target species
• Prevent contamination of water bodies

FIRST AID

In case of accidental poisoning or suspected exposure, seek immediate medical attention and show the product label.

If swallowed:

Call a doctor immediately and show the packaging or Safety Data Sheet.
Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by medical personnel.
Rinse mouth with water.
Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Skin contact:

Remove contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly with soap and water.

Eye contact:

Rinse cautiously with plenty of water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present.

Information for Medical Personnel

Contains bromadiolone (anticoagulant).
May cause blood coagulation disorders and internal bleeding. Symptoms may be delayed.

If INR > 4: administer Vitamin K1 intravenously.
Treatment may need to be repeated.

Antidote: Vitamin K1 (monitor treatment effectiveness via laboratory testing).

STORAGE

Store in original, tightly closed packaging.
Keep in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place.
Protect from light and sources of ignition.

Shelf life: 2 years from manufacturing date.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Remove dead rodents regularly during treatment to prevent secondary poisoning.

Dispose of carcasses as hazardous waste according to local regulations.

Collect unused bait, bait containers and bait stations after treatment.
Clean up any spilled product.
Unused product must be disposed of at authorised hazardous waste facilities.
