Feroband food moth catcher
The effect of the FeroBand catcher is based on the active substance of the pheromone, contained in the adhesive composition on the strip and reliably luring the males of the pests. The substance is specifically and solely effective on males of food moths of the genera Ephestia elutella, Ephestia kuehniella, Ephestia cautella and Plodia interpunctella.
The FeroBand catcher can be used in various storage places of vegetable food such as wheat and wheat products, oleiferous plants, nuts, almonds, raisins, figs, dates, pulses, dried vegetables, dried fruits, dried mushrooms, cocoa beans and chocolate products, healing plants, tobacco, and so on.
The adhesive pheromone strips detect the moths and, more importantly, lure and catch the males of these intruders in our households. The catch of the males stops their reproduction, protecting thus food from their larvae.

FeroBand
Food Moth Pheromone Trap
FeroBand is a monitoring device designed to detect and control food moths. The trap contains a pheromone that attracts male moths and a natural adhesive surface where they become trapped. By catching male moths, the reproduction cycle is interrupted and the pest population is reduced.
This natural method helps control food moths that can cause serious damage to stored food products.
Composition
Moth pheromone and natural adhesive substances.
Installation
Remove the protective paper and hang the device in places where food moths have been observed or may occur.
It is recommended to place the trap near walls or in corners where food products are stored. The traps can also be placed between bags or containers where food products are stored in large quantities.
FeroBand can be used in food stores and warehouses where the following products are stored:
grains, cereals, nuts, dried fruits, cocoa and chocolate products, medicinal herbs and tobacco.
Do not place the device in areas with strong air drafts.
In unheated premises it is recommended to use pheromone traps from April to October when the indoor temperature reaches approximately 12–15 °C.
In heated rooms the traps can be used throughout the entire year.
The pheromone attracts moths for approximately 6 weeks after installation, after which the device should be replaced with a new one.
